Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel and filmmaker in America. In addition to her graceful beauty, her continued success in the film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. When she was a model in her early years, she began her career in the 1970s. She quickly became prominent in the field of modeling. In the early 1980s, she took classes in acting and theater prior to performing on stages in Los Angeles. Russo began her film debut on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character of Eden Kendell. In her debut film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. At first, she was unsure of her acting abilities however, the critics were convinced by her consistent work. Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. She began her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After joining the UFC She has gained a name in the sport due to her success in and out of the Octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships provided her with her professional debut at the age of 18, after she knocked down two opponents. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the strawweight division of the UFC at 22, in December of 2014. Rose has experienced highs as well as her lows as well throughout her professional career, but she always came out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by an technical knockout that took just under 3 minutes round One. Rose not only won the championship but was recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first woman to challenge to win the title of champion within any organization of note. Following this victory Namajunas continued to win other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
