Taylor began her YouTube career by recording ASMR videos using the help of her cell phone. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers about 1 1/2 month after posting her first video she appeared in a gaming video produced by PewDiePie. Taylor's Youtube channel had reached 100,000 users within 2 years. Taylor ceased to produce videos, and then put them up on the internet in private. Her main reasons were technical issues, new equipment problems, and she became overwhelmed by the attention she received from her fans. ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July of 2017 and is now watched by 38 million people. In August of 2017, Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached one million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning $1000 per day from advertisements on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer were the parents of Helfer at the time she was born. [2] Her ancestry is German, English. Swedish as well as Norwegian. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. The three sisters she shares with lived on their family's grain farm. She was 17 when the agent of her modeling agency spotted her while in line waiting at a theater.
